Professional Snake Removal Services in Thika Town
Thika Town has residential estates, commercial buildings, markets, institutions, industrial premises, and homes near open spaces. Snakes may occasionally be encountered around gardens, drainage channels, vacant plots, warehouses, and areas where outdoor materials are stored. They may enter properties while searching for shelter or prey, including rats and mice. When a snake appears in a busy residential or commercial area, it is important to prevent people from approaching it.
Maident Snakes Control Services provides snake control assistance for homeowners, tenants, landlords, businesses, institutions, and industrial properties in Thika Town, Kiambu County. Our service helps clients respond to snake sightings and understand practical ways to reduce possible hiding places around their premises.
If a snake is spotted, keep a safe distance and alert people nearby. Move children and pets away from the area. Do not try to catch, corner, chase, strike, or kill it. Avoid approaching it to take photographs or identify the species at close range. Contact trained handlers and provide details about the last known location. If the animal disappears behind equipment, into vegetation, or beneath stored materials, leave the area undisturbed.
Property owners can reduce potential hiding places by keeping grass trimmed, clearing rubbish, and organising outdoor storage spaces. Businesses should maintain clean back entrances, loading zones, stores, and waste collection points. Construction materials, timber, and unused equipment should be stored neatly rather than left scattered near buildings.
Rodent management is also important because rats and mice may attract snakes. Food should be stored securely, refuse containers covered, and kitchens and stores kept clean. Appropriate pest control can help reduce rodent activity and potential food sources. Property owners should inspect gaps around doors, windows, pipes, vents, and drainage systems and arrange suitable repairs where necessary.
Landlords and business managers should ensure that residents and employees know how to report snake sightings safely. Shared areas should remain clear until trained assistance is available. If a snake disappears from sight, its last known location should be reported instead of attempting to search for it.
