Professional Snake Removal Services in Thika CBD
Thika CBD contains shops, offices, restaurants, commercial buildings, storage areas, and residential properties. Although the central business district is highly developed, snakes may occasionally be found near drainage systems, building service areas, rubbish collection points, vacant plots, or premises close to vegetation. They may also enter buildings while searching for shelter or prey, including rodents.
Maident Snakes Control Services provides snake control assistance for businesses, offices, shops, restaurants, institutions, and residential properties in Thika CBD, Kiambu County. Our service helps property owners and managers respond to snake sightings and understand measures that may reduce potential hiding places around their premises.
If a snake is discovered inside a shop, office, restaurant, store, or building entrance, keep a safe distance and prevent other people from approaching. Move children and pets away where applicable. Do not try to catch, corner, strike, or kill the animal. Contact trained handlers and explain where it was last seen. If it disappears behind shelves, equipment, or stored goods, do not reach into the space or attempt to flush it out.
Businesses can reduce potential hiding places by keeping service corridors, back entrances, stores, and refuse areas clean and organised. Deliveries and stored goods should be arranged carefully, and unnecessary clutter should be removed. Restaurants and food-handling businesses should maintain proper sanitation and dispose of food waste regularly.
Rodent control is especially important in commercial areas because rats and mice can attract snakes. Store food in suitable containers, keep rubbish covered, and monitor stores and waste collection points for rodent activity. Appropriate pest management can help reduce a potential food source. Building owners should also inspect gaps around doors, pipes, windows, vents, and drainage systems and arrange suitable repairs.
Business managers should establish a clear response procedure for snake sightings. Staff should keep customers away from the affected area, avoid attempting removal, and contact trained handlers. A snake disappearing from view does not necessarily mean it has left the building.
